Born and bred in the north east of Scotland, Craig Wilson is a local chef with big ideas. His home is the warm and welcoming, stylish and serene restaurant Eat on the Green, set in an idyllic village just 20 minutes North from the city of Aberdeen but Craig’s work takes him far and wide.

About The Kilted Chef

Craig has been honoured to cook for many high profile celebrities including Sir Sean Connery, Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Patrick Stewart and has cooked in some of the UK’s most prestigious properties, but remains humble and proud of his roots.

Craig has been selected by VisitScotland to travel to New York as an ambassador for Scotland’s food and drink and has represented Scotland in Hanoi, Vietnam as Guest Chef in a Culinary Stars festival in the flagship Metropole Hotel by Accor group. Craig continues to fly the flag for Scottish produce to the world stage and is hugely proud of his homeland’s world-class abundant natural larder from land to sea.

He is an invited member of the Masterchefs of Great Britain and is passionate about celebrating the best the North-East has to offer to the World Stage.
